A great ‘gadget’ to have. Sewing on binding is not easy to get it straight and even and this foot helps to do the job right. A foot that helps with it gets an A from me.

After years of struggling trying to get fabric ties made for activity smocks, trying to get the bias tape edging on my bibs using pins and free hand sewing, and basically losing my mind, it never occurred to me the there was an actual foot that does all the work for you! This is well worth the ten bucks. There are only 2 simple adjustments so it’s not complicated by any means. This is attached to my Brother SE645 Embroidery+Sewing machine. As you can see from the photo, it gets the stitches right up to the edge and it looks great. The ONLY thing I have run into so far is the bias tape adjustment screw will start to unscrew under the duress of the constant vibration from the machine and create slop in the guides, which will cause your tape to move in the dog feed and miss stitches. So it’s important to keep an eye on that and make sure it stays tight and doesn’t allow your tape to move around. Other than that I am very satisfied with this item (purchased under my boyfriend’s account with prime shipping) and recommend it as a budget friendly accessory.

The feeder is a replacement as the original made out of plastic broke. This replace works beautifully, should last a very long time.

This guy has added years to my quilting! I am developing arthritis in my hands which has been making it difficult to add binding to my quilts. I actually thought I was going to have to stop quilting, until I discovered this foot for my machine! It is easy to install and use.
